Post Mastectomy Bras

As with any major surgery, a mastectomy (partial or complete) is apt to leave your body very weak. In the days and even weeks following your surgery, you will need to wear compression garments to help reduce swelling and bruising and to promote circulation (which in turn promotes healing). Post mastectomy bras are designed for women who choose to have an implant or implants put in during the same procedure as their mastectomy, as well as women who choose to complete their surgeries without having an implant put in.

We carry their very comfortable and soft surgical vest, which comes with the left cup only or the right cup only. Because the vest has a zipper front which runs down the middle, it is ideal to wear to your examinations.

Caring for Your Post Mastectomy Bras
The ContourMD bra you wear during your recovery from surgery will be especially firm and compressive; in fact, these garments are known as compression garments. It's important that you keep your compression garment as springy and compressive as possible during your recovery.
