Calendula Ointment is an effective first aid treatment for cuts scrapes and burns. Calendula officinalis are flowers that contain triterpene sapornins, triepene alcohol, flavonoids, carotenoid, and others. The flowers are the Marigold of Europe, a flower which has been known for centuries as a natural healing and soothing substance when applied locally Calendula is a natural topical healing agent with no know side effects of disadvantages. The Ointment is specifically designed to heal skin irritations like cracked skin during the winter months, wounds, limit blisters, heal chaffing, and minor burns. Calendula Ointment is am occlusive preparation designed to promote healing by protecting and moisturizing the wound and maintaining contact between the wound and the healing agent. Boiron Calendula Ointment can be used for skin irritation following chemical peeling, dermabrasion, laser resurfacing, tattoo or hair removal.
